Plastic Technologies Inc. is a 3rd Generation family-owned plastics manufacturer based out of Elgin, IL. PTI was founded in 1967 and began manufacturing specialized optical work out of a basement in Chicago, IL. The business moved a few more times (Schaumburg, Carpentersville) before settling in at our current location in Elgin, IL. In 1994 we purchased our first Injection Molding press and have continued to grow/evolve ever since. We now manufacture out of our 65,000 sq/ft shop in Elgin, IL, expanding from Custom Injection Molding Services to Custom Extrusion, Custom Blow Molding, Metal Stamping & Custom Metal & Plastics Fabrication. Servicing customers in the Automotive, Highway/Construction, Marine, Medical, and Retail Industries.
